Decision Support System for Outstanding Employee Selection at the South OKU Regional Police Using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Method

The selection of outstanding employees at the South OKU Regional Police has traditionally been carried out manually, which may lead to subjectivity in the decision-making process. This study aims to develop a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) for selecting outstanding employees using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The SAW method is employed to rank alternatives based on predetermined criteria and their respective weights, including discipline, leadership, and teamwork. The system was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database following the Waterfall development model. The results show that the developed system is capable of generating employee rankings objectively and transparently, thereby assisting the management of the South OKU Regional Police in conducting employee performance evaluations more effectively and efficiently.
