Manual management of broiler house environmental conditions has limitations in detecting microclimate changes rapidly and continuously. This study aims to develop a microcontroller-based smart broiler house automation system to support environmental optimization and livestock health. The study employed the Research and Development method using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The system integrates an ESP32, DHT22 sensor, MQ135 sensor, and load cell with an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system. The results showed that the system maintained the temperature at 30–32 °C and controlled humidity within 68–78%. The DHT22 sensor achieved 99.81% accuracy with an error of 0.19%. The system also monitored air quality changes and feed availability and automatically controlled the actuators. The developed automation system effectively supports real-time monitoring and environmental control in broiler houses.
