Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pemetaan Sekolah di Dinas Pendidikan Kuantan Singingi

Sistem informasi memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung pengelolaan data dan penyampaian informasi secara efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi pemetaan sekolah berbasis web yang diterapkan pada Dinas Pendidikan Kepemudaan dan Olahraga (DISDIKPORA) Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Sistem ini dikembangkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan dalam proses pencarian informasi sekolah yang masih dilakukan secara manual, serta meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan data sekolah oleh pihak dinas. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan model Waterfall, dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian. Sistem yang dibangun menyajikan informasi sekolah dalam bentuk peta interaktif yang terintegrasi dengan koordinat GPS, serta dilengkapi fitur pencarian, pengelolaan data sekolah, dan laporan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu memberikan kemudahan bagi masyarakat dalam mengakses informasi lokasi dan profil sekolah secara akurat, serta membantu pihak DISDIKPORA dalam pengelolaan data yang lebih terstruktur dan efisien. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan aksesibilitas informasi pendidikan di Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi dapat meningkat, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang tepat berbasis data oleh instansi terkait.
